This month's breakfast topic is your elevator speech.
An elevator speech is a clear, brief message or “commercial” about you. Most people think it communicates who you are, what you're looking for and how you can benefit a company or organization. It's typically about 30 seconds, the time it takes people to ride from the top to the bottom of a building in an elevator.
What about an approach that says “why” you do what you do? We'll break into small groups to discuss these two approaches and help you work on your elevator speech.
We'll leave a few minutes at the end of the breakfast to share an upcoming event, job openings, searches etc. Please feel free to bring flyers to share with the group.
