Wednesday Night Book Discussion

Join us at the Gates Mills Branch Library as we discuss *The Cailiffs of Baghdad, Georgia* by Mary Helen Stefaniak. Eleven-year-old Gladys Califf and her Depression-era community are turned upside down when a worldly teacher, who is fascinated with all things Arabian, moves into the small town. The tale of drastic change coming to a small Southern town in the 1930's is filled with wild incidents, vivid characters, and a surprise at every turn. Everyone is welcomed to attend the discussion.
