The Garden Club of Bentleyville is pleased to present their sixth Standard Flower Show entitled ‘The Language of Flowers’. The show may be viewed at the Atrium in Hamlet Village, 200 Hamlet Hills Drive, in Chagrin Falls on Friday, June 7^th from 1 to 4 pm, and Saturday June 8^th, from 10 am to 4 pm.  The show is free and open to the public.

The inspiration for the show comes both from the Victorian era, when each flower conveyed a thought or emotion, and a recent novel entitled The Language of Flowers, by Vanessa Diffenbaugh. 

Inspired by the Club’s idea and the aforementioned book, Marsha Antonucci, a Bentleyville resident, member of the Garden Club, and local artist, created the beautiful painting shown in the photo.  The painting will be on display at the show, along with a selection of Marsha’s other works.
