Attention Chagrin Valley Chamber businesses – it’s time to make a splash!  We want to see how creative you can be with a rubber duck-themed promotion at your business!
🎯 But here’s the real goal:
This isn’t just about winning a prize — this is a tool to help you connect with the community in a fun, eye-catching way. We want to promote YOU — your business, your storefront, your creativity.

How Can You Get in on the Fun?

You don’t have to follow our suggestions—get as creative as you’d like! Whether it’s a display, a special product, a unique promotion, a social reel, or something totally unexpected, we just want to spread cheer and bring visibility to your business!

We’ll be featuring participants on social media and in our emails leading up to the big event — and if you offer a discount or special offer, we’ll include it on the event page and in communications to race participants.

Have a storefront? Show your ducky spirit from the street!
Work in an office? Decorate your workspace and share photos — we’ll help spread your ducky spirit on social!

Need ideas? Try:

• Creating a rubber ducky-themed display inside your business
• Decorating your storefront window with a fun ducky design
• Ducky-themed drink, dessert or menu items
• Setting up a ducky-themed photo op for customers
• Offering a discount for adoption certificate holders
• Hosting a small in-store duck hunt or giveaway

Important Dates:

Entry Deadline: Saturday, April 18, 2026, by 12:00 PM
Judging Period: April 19 – April 25, 2026
🏆 Winner Announced: Monday, April 27, 2026,  on social media!

Judging Criteria:

🔹 Creativity – 50%
🔹 Adherence to Theme – 25%
🔹 Wow Factor & Overall Presentation – 25%

Our secret panel of judges will visit all participating businesses between April 19 – April 25 and select a winner! Get as creative as you would like. Tag us in your posts too!

Grand Prize:

• The "Golden Duck" Traveling Trophy: Bragging rights to display for a full year.
• The "Pay It Forward" Prize: A fully gifted one-year Chamber Membership to a local business of the winner's choice.
• The Digital Spotlight: A featured story in our June newsletter and spotlight on our social media platforms.
