Journey back to the American Wild West with a presentation exploring the historical fiction novel Doc (2011), and how a 30-second gunfight between Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday at the O.K. Corral became entertainment for millions around the world. Internationally acclaimed American novelist and author of Doc, Dr. Mary Doria Russell, will be speaking. Dessert reception with musical entertainment by Vince Menti, and book signing to follow.
