Chagrin Documentary Film Festival: East Jerusalem/West Jerusalem

This special Screening is in partnership with the Cleveland Jewish Film Fest. East Jerusalem/West Jerusalem (Dir. Erez Miller and Henrique Cymerman, 80min, Israel, 2014, English, Hebrew and Arabic with English Subtitles, Documentary)follows legendary Israeli singer-songwriter David Broza as he journeys to East Jerusalem to realize his dream of cooperation and dialogue between Israelis and Palestinians through music. Director Erez Miller follows the artists over an eight-day period where they weave musical improvisation and performance with personal conversations as one small step toward peaceful co-existence.
